For community hosts

Your host planning checklist.

Use this guide during your conversation with the practice. Print this page from your browser to keep a paper checklist; nothing is collected or saved here.

  1. Choose your audience

Note the type of group and approximate attendance. No resident names, patient details or medical concerns are needed for host planning.

  2. Suggest a few dates

Bring two or three possible dates and times. Allow approximately seven minutes for the talk plus time for Q&A; agree the full visit length with the practice.

  3. Plan the talk space

Choose a comfortable place for the group to gather, with seating and a clear view of the speaker. Discuss access, directions and any microphone needs with the practice.

  4. Decide whether to discuss consultations

A talk-only gathering needs no private consultation room. If optional paid consultations are proposed, discuss a separate private space and arrangements with the practice. Hosts do not collect health details or allocate appointments.

  5. Confirm together before announcing

The host and Dr. Colón must confirm the date, location, talk format and any separate consultation arrangements. A proposed date or this checklist is not a confirmed event or appointment.

  6. Share the approved invitation

After the practice confirms the event and approves the invitation wording, the host distributes it through the group’s usual channels. State that the talk and Q&A are free and any optional consultation is priced separately. This website sends no invitations.

Optional consultations

Individual treatment recommendations and prices follow an in-person assessment. Any agreed consultation or travel charge is explained before booking. Before treatment begins, the practice explains the proposed services and exact price for your agreement. The educational talk and Q&A are free; optional consultations are priced separately.

Confirm the host, talk space, date and Dr. Colón’s availability before announcing an event. A private consultation room is needed only if separate consultations are arranged; it is not required for a talk-only gathering.
